What a great opportunity to attend the two-day gathering on March 23 and 24. Packed with presentations and panel discussions, every session fired me up to get back home and get after the writing. To break up the sessions, vendors and authors were set up to promote their services, books, or organizations. Moreover, specialists in a variety of fields that could discuss elements of our books related to their specialty. If an author gets the facts, procedures, or elements accurate, the book is significantly more believable and enjoyable for the ultimate reader.

Finally, there were “sleuth” games and drawings for prizes. Who doesn’t like a freebie if luck wins out?
